In 1995, Jerry Tagge commissioned Ted Watts to paint a special piece. Ted Watts is best known for his images of the Heisman Trophy winners and Pro Football & Pro Baseball Hall of Fame inductees. He wanted to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of that magical season. When the painting was presented to Jerry, his first thought was to create a limited edition lithograph of the Husker Legends.
